The Brand Manager at Memebox is responsible for developing new products that bring the latest K-beauty trends to global consumers, leveraging data collected through various channels such as product reviews, sales data, and sales channel operators. Additionally, they devise unique selling points that set our products apart from competitors and deliver the most appealing K-beauty experience to our customers.
This role primarily focuses on the development of our brands KAJA and I’M MEME, which primarily drive sales in the US and Japan markets. You will report to the team leaders of each brand and collaborate with related departments in Korea, the US, Taiwan, and China to oversee the development and sales of each product.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will plan and develop new hero products, and strive to become the leading K-beauty brand in global market sales.
Market Research - Utilize extensive data collection and analysis to objectively uncover market trends and consumer needs. (Includes competitor analysis, customer feedback, insights from branches and sales channels, as well as real sales structures by brand and product.)
Product Planning - Strategically devise new products capable of dominating each market segment based on gathered data. Additionally, craft compelling Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) to maximize product appeal, and refine product descriptions.
Product Operations and Development - Collaborate with top-tier domestic OEM companies such as Korean Kolmar and Cosmax to manage production schedules for existing products, while also spearheading the development of new ones.
4. Product Lifecycle (PLC) Management - Continuously iterate on products based on data feedback, implementing upgrades and taking targeted actions to foster sales growth. Make informed decisions regarding product operation and discontinuation based on these insights.
